He graduated from Pisa and obtained a research doctorate from the University of Milano-Bicocca. He was a researcher at the University of Genoa and a visiting research fellow at the Fordham University School of Law in New York in 2019 and 2022.
Maurizio Falsone collaborates with authoritative scientific journals (the Italian Labor Law Review, Lavoro Rights Europe and The Italian Law Journal) and is an expert on employment law in state-owned and utility companies, as well as on collective bargaining and conflicts unions. His first monograph on employment relationships in enterprises run by public bodies was published in the historical series of the Schlesinger Commentary. He has more than 90 publications to his credit, and his most recent contributions concern the repression of anti-union behaviour and work via digital platforms. Finally, it carries out an intense conference activity. Furthermore, he teaches various master’s and higher executive training courses on corporate welfare, sustainability, and work relationships in enterprises run by public bodies.
At the institutional level, Mr. prof. Falsone is the delegate for organizational welfare in his department as well as the Rector’s delegate for trade union relations.
Maurizio has been a lawyer since 2011 and has already practised in law firms specializing in employment law. In 2021 he was a member of the commission for the qualification exam to practice the profession of lawyer in the Court of Appeal of Venice.
He is a member of the Italian Association of Labor Law and Social Security (AIDLASS) and of the Italian Association for the Study of Industrial Relations (AISRI).
